6) The Challenges of a Winter Day (2/2/11 and possibly a few other days of winter weather)

These are my five best photos from another assignment within Photo I here at Tyler. We were required to document our journey throughout a winter day, due to the multiple days of snow, rain, ice, and more snow.
The top photo is a picture of the ice that was all over Temple's campus. It made it difficult to walk to class as quickly as I am able to when the sidewalks/streets are clear of this slippery ice. Consequently it made walking to class a bit more stressful considering I was worried that I would be late to my classes considering I had to walk slower than usual.
The next picture underneath the top picture is a photograph of the pathway into the entrance of one of the buildings on campus that the majority of my classes are in (besides the art building). This particular building is having a lot of maintenance work done to it, due to renovations, making this building very difficult to maneuver my way into, even without snow and ice. Now, not only was there snow piled up around the entrance, but maintenance workers, and maintenance equipment was additionally in the way; also very stressful.
The third picture is a photo of a mixture of ice and salt that was put down to try to help the dangerous ice  and snow mixture melt, as well as to help give us students some more traction while walking. The salt did help, but there were also still a lot of ice chunks laying around campus, making it difficult to walk as well, as mentioned above.
The forth picture is a photograph of the entrance/exit of the art building. It is a picture of a wet floor sign, illustrating the fact that a lot of the floors within the buildings were wet and slippery due to students tracking the snow and ice inside the buildings. This also made these past days stressful and difficult because the worry of falling didn't just stop on the snow and ice covered streets, but also within the school's buildings.
Last but not least is a photograph of a set of stairs on campus. The majority, if not all of the stairs on campus were stressful to deal with as well because they, like the streets and sidewalks, were ice and snow covered. Consequently if there wasn't snow blocking your view of where the next step starts and where the last step ended, there was ice covering them. Both of these things also making these past winter wonderland days a little less fun and a little more stressful.
